Bioluminescence Tour

Discover the amazing effect of bioluminescence in the waters of Laguna Manialtepec, located a few miles from the resort. The tour typically lasts 1.5 to 2 hours including transportation to and from the laguna.
You will visit the beautiful Laguna Manialtepec, an extraordinary ecosystem home of exotic vegetation and wild life, that is located ten minutes from the resort. There you will board a boat that will take you to live a unique experience discovering the secrets of the lagoon. Hear about the mysterious history of Isla del Gallo, admire the mangrove islands and its abundant wildlife like birds, iguanas and dozens of species of fish.
Jump off your boat and take a swim inside the waters to observe one of the most amazing phenomena of nature: Bio-luminescence. There are few places in the world where you can see this natural wonder! Swim in the lagoon while the water start glowing when you make contact with it. This phenomenon is caused by millions of Bioluminescent Phytoplankton.
Thermal Springs Horseback Riding

Get ready for a memory making horseback expedition! Enjoy the beautiful landscapes of southwest Mexico as you drive north from the resort for approximately 20-minutes. Upon arrival at the town of Manialtepec, you will ride gentle/well trained horses into the jungle and to the thermal waters where you will be able to swim/soak in the hot pools. The ride is amazing as it crosses streams and rivers, with views of local wildlife, ranches, sun soaked beaches and sheer cliffs before arriving at your destination. There is also a small restaurant offering local Mexican fare. After your swim in the pools and a quick snack, you will ride back to the town of Manialtepec, and then head back to the resort.
